2014 Michigan Young Male Referee of the Year -
Congrats to GLASRA member Charlie Coon! Charlie has been involved in soccer as a player, referee, and a coach. He currently plays for the MSU Club Soccer Team and is a goalkeeper coach for the Williamston High School Boys Team.
He has learned to view soccer from a different perspective through refereeing. "Refereeing has given me an expansive knowledge
of the game I love so much," says Charlie. He is confident that it will help him be a more analytical soccer coach, a more ethical employee, a calmer "soccer Dad", and, simply a better person.
Be sure to congratulate Charlie when you see him!

Even the most recognized FIFA referees begin were once young referees, and Raechel Conine hopes her strides in referee development will lead her on a similar path.
