2014 Michigan Young Male Referee of the Year -

Charlie Coon

Congrats to GLASRA member Charlie Coon! Charlie has been involved in soccer as a player, referee, and a coach. He currently plays for the MSU Club Soccer Team and is a goalkeeper coach for the Williamston High School Boys Team.

He has learned to view soccer from a different perspective through refereeing. "Refereeing has given me an expansive knowledge of the game I love so much," says Charlie. He is confident that it will help him be a more analytical soccer coach, a more ethical employee, a calmer "soccer Dad", and, simply a better person.

Be sure to congratulate Charlie when you see him!
